Howard is a happy, affectionate Bobtail Bernard puppy who loves chilling out and cuddling with his people. He enjoys playing with other dogs occasionally, but mostly he loves spending time with people, and exploring the world around him with a mellow, laid back attitude.
He is a friendly puppy who rarely seeks out attention from strangers, but enjoys being included by his family. Howard has been raised in a busy environment with other dogs, regular handling, early socialization, and exposure to a wide variety of sights, sounds, surfaces, and experiences.
Like all of our puppies, Howard has been introduced to crate training, household routines, grooming, car rides, and basic manners. He is already potty trained and scratches at the door to come back in. He continues to win us over with those giant puppy dog eyes and cuddles.
Howard would be an excellent choice for a family looking for a loyal companion, adventure buddy, or furry couch potato.

Sheldon is one of those dogs who seems to never have a bad day. He is incredibly outgoing, friendly, and eager to please, with a happy, playful personality that makes him a joy to be around.
He loves people and genuinely enjoys being part of whatever is happening. Sheldon is wonderful with children and other dog, and he has also been great with cats and chickens. He is playful without being difficult and has a wonderful ability to adapt to different environments and companions.
Sheldon absolutely loves toys and playtime, and he is also a big fan of the water. He is curious, confident, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. His social nature and desire to interact with people make him especially easy and enjoyable to work with.
Sheldon was originally considered for service dog work because he has so many of the qualities we look for: he is friendly, biddable, confident, people-oriented, eager to learn, and exceptionally good-natured. Ultimately, he was not selected for service work for one simple reason....he sheds. For a service dog program where a low-shedding coat is an important requirement, that made him unsuitable for the job.
But in every other respect, Sheldon is exactly the kind of dog we hope to produce.
If you are looking for a happy, social, playful dog who loves people, gets along with just about everyone, and approaches life with a wag, Sheldon is a very special boy. He would make an outstanding family companion and adventure buddy. We would be happy to train him as a therapy dog, or dog sports.

Boulder is an absolutely massive, incredibly handsome boy with an amazing personality to match his size. He was the biggest puppy at birth, and he has continued to grow into one seriously impressive dog!
He is super friendly, extremely smart, eager to learn, and wonderful with other dogs. Boulder has a confident personality and can be a little bossy and somewhat dominant with other dogs, but he is not aggressive or difficult. He simply has a big personality and likes to know what’s going on!
Boulder loves people, enjoys being part of the action, and has all the qualities that make him such a fun companion. He is the kind of dog who gets noticed everywhere he goes... not just because of his enormous size, but because of his outgoing, happy personality.
Why Boulder Isn't Being Used for Service Work
Boulder was originally considered for our service dog program because of his intelligence, temperament, size, and willingness to work. However, we noticed that he has some extra laxity in his hips.
At this point, we don't want to take the risk of asking his hips to handle the demands of a career involving wheelchair pulling and other physically demanding mobility work for potentially a decade. Large-breed dogs performing physically demanding work need to be carefully evaluated for orthopedic suitability, and hip laxity is something we take very seriously when selecting mobility prospects.
This does not take away from who Boulder is. He is still an exceptionally smart, friendly, loving, and impressive dog. We simply believe he deserves a home where he can enjoy being an amazing companion rather than being asked to perform physically demanding mobility work for years.
Boulder is looking for someone who will appreciate his giant size, giant personality, and giant heart.. and give him the opportunity to simply be a wonderful dog.
Boulder was 48lbs at 12 weeks. We expect he will be nearly 180lbs full grown.
